New Year's Eve Celebration in the port city of Alabama, Mobile. The MoonPie drop is a unique event celebrating the beginning of the Mardi Gras Tradition in the US. New Orleans made Mardi Gras famous, but, for the US, it began in Mobile, Alabama. The RSA Trustmark Building is where the MoonPie drops and fireworks explode from it's roof at midnight. Fireworks also shoot from the river marking the New Year.
